As I am sure you are all quite aware, the last few weeks have seen our struggle in Detroit step up in intensity.
The last Esbat in May we announced that our siege on Windsor was going to become an earnest attack, and the night after Esbat we released our shovelheads to soften up the Camarilla defenses, and there are parts of that city that are yet plagued the remnants of our first wave. Those few shovelheads that remain have earned their place in the Sect if they can be recovered.
The Bad News Bears learned that their stupidity in setting fire to gathering places of Sectmates angered the city and the Archbishop, and in response they took the holy flame of the sect and burned out the Prince's court in Windsor to prove their contrition, and cleaned their own house by bringing to light an Infernalist hiding within their ranks. A little rambunctiousness can be forgiven from those that bring such results. For this, Stacey has been granted the position of Bishop of Detriot and has removed himself from the Bad News Bears as a member, he now oversees that pack as well as Caines Local 8081.
Thomas Beresforde has led our efforts to permanently solve the demonic plague that still afflicts us, and has come to myself and the Archbishop with solid information that may lead to this resolution.
At our last Esbat much happened. Archbishop William returned to the city to publicly pledge utter and outright destruction to anyone foolish enough to have congress with Demons and Infernal powers in the sect, destroy the second infernalist found within Detroit within two months, and oversee once again our dedication to each other in the Vaulderie.
And then we made war. The Bad News Bears were sent North into Windsor, a place they are coming to know well. Their targets this time were a group of Archons we monitored moving into the city in retaliation to the sacking of the Prince's court. The hammer blow they struck destroyed several, and put the rest to flight, though not without losses within our ranks. We mourn the fallen, and celebrate their deaths in service to Sect and Freedom.
Opus X directed our first strike against the demons strongholds, and destroyed it's minions and put it's acolyte to flight.
And the Packs of (OOC- I didn't write down the packnames like I should have, please either post them or PM them to me so I can edit those in) struck against an enemy force that has made it's home in Detroit for many decades, a force that has commanded the spirits themselves against us.
And while our offensives have gone well, our defenses have not suffered. Caines Local 8081 and the Class of 99 struck at two Camarilla cells that had come to our city to murder our brothers, and destroyed them utterly, though our losses were significant.
Tonight, I am proud of my brothers.
