Looking at all present members.
"I will need to shift personal focus for this new position. Securing influences will be a personal task of mine."
"Pack dealings have become few and far between. I need to consult with them on their influential contributions in order to see what we need to work on. True we have lost members due to the dealings with Camarilla Archons we have since lost our Ductus and Stacey has left the pack. We are going to reform and emerge as something greater. Either way, Windsor will remain intact as a new Sabbat chapter. Im confidant in that."
"And about being Bishop, the sabbat in Windsor elected me after we sieged it. I will make a formal announcement at next Esbat."

Walks in through the door a little slowly, still working out the kinks from his recent extended healing.
Windsor has been "taken" by the Bad News Bears, and is claimed as Sabbat territory. The Camies are not exactly happy about this situation, and seem to have left a lot of rubbish behind. Some of this rubbish is very dangerous and very less than pleasant. I think we should look at the position in Windsor as a Beachhead: we have presence there to base out claim, but we need to consolidate our position, improve our security and prepare against the invevitable counterattacks. We have located at least one tremere stronghold, and found it guarded by some sort of abomination of a cainite. There are likely to be more of these. With all due respect to Bishop Tony and Arch Bishop William, I think the situation is more precarious than it might seem. While Windor, as close is it is to Detroit, is powerful in terms of Cainite presence, it is far weaker with respect to the necessary support structures. The ability to win stand up fights is fine, but we can have a real ongoing war of attrition if we do not get influences into play. Frankly, what is there now is inadequate. Withdrawing the archbishop's influence protection is a bit premature at this point, I beleive it will take another month before that is an option. I also question the prudence of overly rapid expansion in two directions. We should consolidate our positions in Windsor, and possible Ann Arbor before moving south. We have, I think too many untied loose ends here. Again, I think a month or so of aggressive consolidation would be useful. Smiles. Besides we have the cam expending resources attacking us on our ground, where we are strongest. Lets bleed them out before counterattacking ourselves. I do, however, agree that a detailed reconaissance of Toledo is both desireable and essential.

Robert nods along, taking mental notes as the two Bad News Bears speak.
"Tony, I will be speaking to you and the other Bishops over the next few nights go discuss your plans on how to deal with the less physical and straightforward requirements of your position. Part of that discussion will revolve around mortal influences and hopefully jump start your own dealings with them."
"To the rest of you, the responsibilities of Bishop of Windsor have been given to Tony by Archbishop William, making him primarily responsible for that territory. As our battlefront, it is only logical to appoint one of the ones most familiar with the location."
"Jacob, while you make sense when you urge caution in directing our efforts too widely, you forget the strategic requirements of a battle such as this. While we hold Windsor as the primary beachfront, to fail to secure our flanks would ultimately lead to our downfall. You are correct that we must not overextend ourselves, however we can ill afford to be bottled up either, which is why we really have three objectives at this time. First, to maintain our home ground, Detroit. Second, to maintain and secure our hold on our new territory in Windsor. And third, to sweep and secure the lesser towns to the south, behind our "battle line" as it were."
He pauses, glancing around to see who all is absorbing what he is saying, and which among the gathered have the glassy eyed stare of utter boredom.

Silky listens to everyone, patiently taking in their words. He reaches into his jacket pocket and pulls out a Thundercats thermos. He pours himself a cup of very warm blood and points it in the direction of the new Bishop, toasting him in his new position.
"Congratulations to you Bishop Tony on your new, and well earned, position. I am confident that you will do the necessary job of maintaining Windsor through this growth period."
After he is done, Silky takes his seat and sips his cup of blood. Ouch, burned myself a little.
He leans back in to Tommy and whispers very quietly to him. "So, Toledo is also Costello? Maybe we can go check it out once we are at full strength?"

Faye stood at the back while Robert finished his speech, making eye contact with him as he scanned the room before making her way over to the group. With her Starbucks cup in hand she found a seat and settled into it. Taking a sip, she looked around the room taking note of everyone there and nodding to those with whom she was close. She could not help but find amusement in seeing more 'non-ductus' than 'ductus' at this 'ductus meeting'. Chuckling inwardly, she sat and waited for the meeting to continue.

Camille nods in agreement with Rob and glances at the map on the table occasionally, she seems to be deep in thought until Silky takes out his thermos and pours himself a drink. She gets rather distracted by this and seems a tiny bit fixated on the thermos for just a moment before she shakes off a wistful look and resolutely turns her attention back to the map.
"Have we learned anything more about that abomination?"
She takes a longing glance at Bishop Faye's Starbucks cup before continuing.
"Perhaps about the taint he seemed to carry in his blood?"
Her voice sounds just a tiny bit strained on the last word.

Jack looks over at Camille and matter-of-factly shakes his head. "I can't speak for anyone else's efforts, but until appropriate samples are examined and understood scientifically as well as mystically, no further progress is going to be made."
Jack turns to look at Bishop Faye. "Your Excellency, we just asking about the Hot Damned. What news is there on the situation in Ann Arbor?"

"I know where our pack stands on the issue Jack, I wanted to know if anyone else had input."
After saying this Camille gets a strange look on her face, as though she's listening to something no one else can hear. She moves closer to Jack and says very quietly,
"Do you have an eye on the astral world right now? Something weird is happening, different from before, could you take a look?"

Nods in response to Roberts statement. There is wisdom in this position, and if its possible to claim Toledo with a quick strike then we should. My caution is born out of a desire to preserve sect assets and not a fear of the Cam. I will obviously support the Archbishop in any way I can. I am also troubled by the news of an illness of the blood, brough on by contact with tainted blood in the tremere stronghold. I fear that we should be doing more recon into these strongholds so we can sort out the cause of this blood plague.

Tommy has been listening to the conversation.
“I have been pleased to follow the positive progress in Windsor. To the new Bishop; I wish you all the best in your new position and affirm that you have the full support of Opus X. We finally seem to be working together and our strength is increased exponentially. “
He looks around the room at some of his own pack mates.
“As some of you know when we attacked the Tremere stronghold some of my pack were exposed to some sort of blood sickness. It seems to make gaining sustenance from feeding not possible. We are studying the problem and it seems to be passed through tainted blood. I have already discussed this with Bishop Faye and the Priscus and will be advising them of our progress. I do think going back may be a good idea but we will have to be ready for greater defenses or a trap.”

Jack glances in Camille's direction and scrutinizes her and the rest of the room carefully, calling upon his sharpened senses.

Robert continues after a brief break to answer his cellphone while the others spoke, nodding to Bishop Faye as she sips her Starbucks.
"Certainly Jacob, an effort to fully secure Windsor should be one of our top priorities. Our seizure of it, while much quicker then they likely believed possible," he nods to Tony at this, "leaves gaps in our security there that need be filled before they are exploited."
Robert's cast's his gaze around the room until finally coming to rest upon Bonaparte, nearly hidden behind the table.
"As for Bonaparte's reason for calling this meeting, Toledo is definitely the best target at the moment. Our sources indicate there is no organized Cainite presence, it is almost certain there are a few independents, or satellite Camarilla members making their home there, however none have declared it a Prince's Domain, so it is doubtful there will be any real resistance."
"Reguardless, you know to take care and to be thorough in your investigation. Another surprise such as Ann Arbor would not be pleasant. The Sect should have done something about that upstart clan long ago."

Bonaparte listens to all the comments and taking notes on important issues such as tainted blood and allocation of influence. He writes down some questions as people speak and answers or circles priorities as issues are brought up. He gives a nod to Faye as she enters. He watches expressions and cringes a bit at the thought of tainted blood. After the voice has finished his piece Bonaparte asks:
"Does anyone else want in on the scouting mission with myself, Max and '99 Problems? We will be leaving shortly and send reports back to next esbot."

Jack ends his focused look and stares over at Bonaparte. "What in particular are you going to scout? And I am unfamiliar with 99 Problems. Who are they and who is their ductus?"

"'99 Problems' is a pack that was helped formed by Devon; they were introduced to the city not that long ago. They offered help and were referred to me by William. I have not met the Ductus yet."
Bonaparte looks at Jack as he speaks.
"We will be probing to see who is in the city and what they are playing with."
