(o.o.c. so, I'm to assume that your decision to change Lilith came because she burned down your old pack's coven/home and that you guys have already moved into the new home under the zoo) After accidentally setting fire to the pack's old home, Lilith hasn't seen much of Camille, everytime she has, Camille had acted standoffish with, or, more standoffish than usual. Camille wasn't the type to give hugs, but atleast she'd always smiled at Lilith, but, lately Lilith didn't even get that small smile from her, just a cold calculating stare. "What did I do Mr. Bear? I was curious. You showed me....what are they called again?" Lilith still remembered the warmth from the flames and watching in awe as they engulfed the pack's home. A cold chill wrapped itself around Lilith as she held the old stuffed animal, an old, familiar voice whispered in Lilith's ear "They were matches little one. Didn't you like the beauty of flames and distant screams? You have so much potential." Lilith shivered. She was never alone, the thought gave her both comfort and sadness. She had never seen the outside until that fateful day when Lilith learned of fire. She never realized just how big the outside was. It made her even more curious. She remembered how the other cold ones, as she liked to call the Vampires, had yelled at Camille, something about how she didn't "take care of her pet" and that "something had to be done". Lilith didn't know what they meant. Lilith set her bear down and stood up, gazing about her room, a place of comfort but at the same time, much like a prison. It was much nicer than the many rooms the Giovanni had kept her in over those many years. There was a bed with a pink down comforter and ruffled skirt. Where areas her old beds were usually were cots that were nailed to the floor, with no blankets, so, usually had to struggle for warmth. There was a simple wood table with chairs where she usually took her meals. There was shelf that had books (her favorite a Grimms Book of Fairy Tales) toys, a pack of cards, and a few board games. A pack member had once shown her how to play Chess. Before, she'd only had the cot and a toilet. All these things Camille gave her were luxuries. Lilith also had a small chest of drawers where she kept the clothing Camille gave her, most were usually bright colored dresses. Living with the Giovanni, Lilith had typically worn a rough, dirty shift dress everyday until it got so worn out that it fell apart, so, she'd get another one. Lilith also had a small adjoining room with a toilet, sink, and claw footed tub. When she had been rescued, Lilith had dirty, knotted, hair that was matted to her head. Camille had to cut most of it off, for, the only time Lilith had bathed was when the Giovanni got so sick of her smell they through buckets of cold water onto her, often leading to colds and infections for the wounds they left unclean on her. The first bath had been blissful. Now, after a couple of months, Lilith's hair had grown back out. Though she still looked sickly, she looked a lot healthier than before. Lilith was incredibly grateful for everything Camille had done for her; Lilith was so lost in her thoughts she almost didn't notice the sounds of footsteps approaching her locked bedroom door, and the sound of a key being inserted into the lock.

Camille, not entirely sure of what she was about to do, approaches Lilith's room with quite a bit of apprehension. The child had been such a bother lately, she has never cared for a child before, though this one didn't really act like a child. She had spoken with her pack about how she should proceed, they weren't much help. After consulting with Bonaparte and considering the circumstances she only sees two sensible courses of action, she refuses to kill the child, so that leaves only one really. Well, here goes nothing, she thinks as she unlocks the door to the room. "Lilith, I brought you dinner, you'll need to eat quickly because I am taking you to meet someone tonight. His name is Bonaparte and he has agreed to help you grow up." They had spoken before about the Giovanni feeding her their blood, and Camille explained to Lilith that this is the reason she stopped getting older, stopped growing. They had discussed a way that she might be able to "mature", the first idea was to take her off the vamp blood and just let things happen naturally, but they found out that she was waaaaay too old for that. The next was a ritual that should do the trick but Camille didn't know anyone she'd trust to do that so they picked option three, Bonaparte and his flesh crafting. She smiled a bit, remembering all the long talks they'd had over the last few months, she remembered the first time she fed the girl her own blood to sustain her. She refused saying she wanted to grow up and then came the talk about her condition, being a ghoul is no picnic, she learned that to stay alive she must feed. It's sad that she had this condition forced on her before she had a chance to physically develop, she deserves more than being a pawn trapped in a prison. It doesn't matter how pretty the room is, or how many toys are in it, or how well the girl is treated, it's still captivity. As she comes into the room she sets the tray with the food down on the table, there is a warm mug of blood on the tray as well, she has been feeding the girl since she came to live with them. Between the kindness she has shown the girl, the blood that is the only thing keeping her alive, and the blood bond that has surely developed between them she feels utterly comfortable in her presence. Sure she's crazy but that is something they have in common and the blood bond would not allow her to harm her master so Camille has taken to sleeping in the same room as the girl, the floor isn't that uncomfortable. This new Haven is very short on space, this is the nicest and safest room in the place, and the only one with a shiny new safe room door that opens via voice command. She takes a bag off her arm and sets it on the bed, it has new clothes and shoes in it which she removes and shows to Lilith. They are tasteful but look too big (size 6), even the shoes (size 5). "These are for after, what do you think? I tried to pick stuff that's a little bit more mature, you need to think about what you want to look like, he can do whatever you'd like. Skin color, eye color, we can finally do something about this hair." She reaches down and gently brushes the crudely chopped off hair out of Lilith's face before picking up one of the many magazines she brought down for the girl to read. She'd figured it would start getting her up to speed with modern culture, she turns the page to a picture of movie star. "You could look like a celebrity if you want. Well not exactly like one but close, if you are going to grow up and go for a new look you might as well look great." Lilith eyed the magazines warily. Camille had explained vaguely to her of the embrace and of how Bonaparte could change how she looked so she wouldn't look like a child for an eternity. Lilith flipped through, gazing a pictures of thin, beautiful females. Each picture was supposed to be a different person, and yet, somehow, all the "celebrities", as Camille called them, all looked oddly the same. Lilith, at first had not liked the idea of becoming a cold one, but, Camille soon had her easily swayed. The thought of changing how she looked made Lilith hesitate. "Well...." She petted the stuffed bear she held in her lap "I don't want to look like these...celebrities. I want to look like me but I want to have nicer hair and I want to lose my scars." The scars on Lilith's back, thighs, and face reminded her of those long nights that she had begged for mercy from the Giovanni as they whipped and beat her repeatedly. "Also, could...could I have those?" Lilith shyly indicated Camille's chest, her cheeks blushing lightly. Camille raised an eyebrow, lightly smirking. "I mean, they're called breasts, I think." Lilith looked down at her flat chest, wishing that the Giovanni had atleast waited until she hit puberty. As it was, she was only 5 feet tall, with the body of a stick, with no hints of womanly attributes. "I mean, nothing big, just...something, and maybe if I could grow like 6 inches?" Lilith looked at Camille, hoping she'd say yes.

((RE: "Camille raised an eyebrow, lightly smirking." FYI, with me it's fine because we know each other and you haven't been wrong about my reactions so far but it's a good idea to avoid describing the other person's actions/reactions in online RP. In this thread it makes sense because we are filling in blanks in your back story and because we know each other well enough to correctly guess. In your interactions with others I'd be careful not to do that though.))
Camille's smirk warms up at the girl's blush, that's one of the many things she'd miss after tonight.
"Well, I was mostly referring to hairstyles and color choices. The scars are easily taken care of, so are the other things you mentioned."
Camille pushes the food in her direction and gestures for her to take it.

Lilith lightly picked at her food. "Will it hurt?"

"Well yes, dying hurts, but I'll make it as quick as possible."
Camille pushes the food closer to Lilith.

Lilith picked up the mug, warm with Camille's blood, and gulped it down. Not even savoring the taste. Lilith saw no point in eating the turkey sandwich and apple. Lilith set the mug back down on the table. Lilith was scared, but saw no other choice. "I can't eat. Let's do this."

Camille looks at the girl and then at the food. Why did I even bother with the food? Habit I guess. She thinks back to the many long talks they've had about this night, many times she had told Lilith that this would be a difficult road to walk but that it would likely be the only way for her to get retribution against the Giovanni. She remembers the glint in the girl's eyes when she had described the powers she would gain upon her embrace and how the Sabbat were working to find and destroy the ones who had taken her away from her family and locked her away in a room for so many years. This was one of the reasons that Camille had finally decided to embrace the girl, there was a fire in her eyes that craved vengeance, a determination that showed she would survive anything she encountered. The fact that she sympathized with the poor girl's twisted upbringing didn't hurt either.
"Alright, I have your first meal waiting in the other room, this will be a bit messy so..."
She gets up and heads towards the bathroom, gesturing for Lilith to follow her. Once there she draws a hot bath and arranges the soaps and sponge where she can get to them easily enough. After tonight many things would change, change is hard, clinging to those habits is probably just my way of coping with that change. At least the bath makes sense, it'll contain the mess and make clean up much easier, then we can go visit Bonaparte to finish her transformation.

The steam from the bath rose up and captured Lilith in it's warm embrace. Lilith reached up and pulled the hairbands lose from her pigtails; gently shaking her hair lose. With hands shaking, Lilith hesitantly turned around so Camille could unzip the back of her dress. The dress fell around her ankles. Lilith's heart hammered against chest as she slowly slid of her underwear. "You shall be a cold one little one, think of all the things we could do. You have so much potential" hissed a cold voice in Lilith's ear. Lilith looked around with wonder, "Mr. Bear?" Camille raised an eyebrow; Lilith's insanity was a common occurrence. Lilith stood in front of Camille; the only thing clothing her were her blushing cheeks. "Shall I get in the water?" Asked Lilith, her voice wavering with nerves.

Camille put some bubble bath in the tub, something special for this occasion, Lilith has probably never seen so many bubbles before in her life. She motions for her to get into the water, treating her just like the child she appears to be, as always she is chaste and platonic with the girl. Come to think of it, with Camille's history she's the last person who would take advantage of the girl in any way, it would be a violation of her own morals. Lilith, surprising as it may seem, is rather stable considering the amount of Trauma she's been through. That is why Camille decided to embrace her, in spite of all she has suffered at the hands of the Giovanni, she is not a gibbering blood bag that would be better off dead.
"Come on now, don't play coy with me, first you want to skip dinner to get it over with now you're you getting cold feet? If so, the water is plenty warm and will take care of that."
Camille frowns a moment as she recalls something from her past, the first time she slaked her terrible thirst, it was her own mother. She was a mess, veritably insane, the kind that gets locked away in a loony bin because they are a danger to themselves and those around them, she was better off dead. Not this girl, she is far stronger than she looks and will be an asset to the Sect once she has learned it's ways.
"Get in the water and I'll tell you a story, something from my past that might help you with this transition. I know I was nervous about my embrace, like yours it was planned, so I had plenty of time to fret over the possible consequences. You have a few advantages I did not."

Lilith nodded sagely and stepped into the water, sinking down into a sitting position with her knees drawn up to her chin. The warm water was soothing and relaxing, the bubbles catching the light in an almost hypnotic way. There was much about Camille that was complete enigma to Lilith. Lilith caught Camille's gaze. "Tell me" asked Lilith gently.

Camille gets a far away look as she recalls her past, she stares off into the distance, her eyes wandering the room.
"As a child I was never afraid of the dark, in fact I always seemed to sleep better when I could block out all the light. We all enter this world naked, screaming, soaked in blood, I think my sire, William, wanted me to experience a rebirth of sorts. I only found out years after his final death how long he had been planning my new beginning, grooming me for his plans, he said he knew all about me, and that he had great plans for me. He also told me about Cainites and that he could make me one of them so that I would be strong enough to deliver justice to those who deserve it. I took the bait he offered not realizing what it would cost me, he left out those details. He said that he first met me when I was a baby, that he had watched me grow up, and that he really cared about me. He took my hand like he could tell I was getting nervous, it was so cold. He took me to a room with tile floors, a drain in the floor, and a huge bathtub. He turned to me once we were in the middle of the room. He said that I was going to have to trust him, that this would not be easy, that it's painful and messy but he promised that after that part was over that I would wake up in a nice warm bed in clean clothes."
Camille loses her faraway look and focuses on Lilith for a moment.
"Are you nervous?"

Lilith rolled the question around in her mind. "No, I'm scared. I fear I'll fall asleep and won't wake up; that I'll die. But...I trust you. I trust my life with you." Lilith cupped a bubble into the palm of her hand. "So...you'll start the process while I'm in hear and...I'll wake up somewhere else? Will it be like falling asleep? Please, I've been through so much. At this point, if death is to finally come to me I don't care. However, there is so much that I haven't seen. I've been trapped behind four walls for so long....I never knew there was an outside until, that is, I learned of fire." At this, a dark, slightly sadistic smile, lit up Lilith's face as she recalled the mayhem she had caused, and all from a few matches and some gasoline. Camille eyed her curiously. Lilith knew she was somewhat of a sadist, and had pyromaniac tendencies, and yet, Camille accepted this. Camille no longer seemed shocked by Lilith's obvious disturbed nature. Lilith looked up at Camille, waiting. Would Camille talk to her more, would she be swift, or would she draw out the process?

Camille picks up a hair brush and moves around behind Lilith, runs the brush gently through the girl's hair for a few moments, slowly moving closer until her chin is resting on the girl's shoulder. Setting the brush down next to the tub and stroking the silky hair Camille says, in the barest whisper...
"I can smell your fear in the air, you know, it's intoxicating. It's okay to be afraid, it's a natural response to the presence of a predator. The fact that you haven't fled in terror is a testament to the strength of your will. I'll make it as quick as I can, there will be a sharp pain before you pass out, you will feel yourself dying. Are you ready?"
Then, before she hears an answer, Camille takes the hair she's been carressing in an iron grip and uses it to move the girl's head out of the way of her strike. There's a moment of blinding pain, Lilith's vision goes black and she experiences the strangest sensation, like her essence is draining away, kind of like passing out but worse because it's a bit more drawn out. It really hurts but, being used to suffering pain, she focused more on the other sensations like the trickle of hot blood running down her back and into the water, Camille's hair brushing against her face, and the way the room seems to get far away before it all fades to black.
When Lilith wakes up she's clean, her hair is freshly washed smelling faintly of the strawberry scented bubble bath, wrapped up in a warm bed in a pitch black room, and really hungry. There's something hot coursing down her throat, face, and chest until she latches on and greedily gulps it down as fast as she can swallow. Camille is there, holding the vessel, no... it's a person, she realizes that this is a human life draining away to sustain her hunger but at that moment Lilith can't seem to find it in herself to care. She couldn't stop herself if she tried, it's kind of scary to lose control like that, she's never experienced such a complete surrender to her instincts. She continues to drink until the body stops fighting and goes limp, at last when it stops twitching, she finally feels some what satiated. The body drops into her lap and Camille strokes her hair, doing her best to be supportive, though she looks like she's seeing a ghost from her past.
"We all enter this world naked, screaming, soaked in blood, now you are born into a new life, a new way of life."
Shaking off that weird far away look, Camille's usual soft smile returns and she says...
"See, that wasn't so bad, right?"

Lilith looks up at Camille and smiles viciously. "No it wasn't, it was....fascinating." Lilith looks down at the dead body in lap and lovingly strokes it's hair. "Death; a strange and beautiful commodity." Ever so gently Lilith grazes the side of her victim's face with a fingernail. When Lilith had died, so had her innocence. The child Lilith was dead. Lilith looks around the room, her instincts incredibly sharp, noticing things she'd never noticed before, such as the footsteps of other pack members in different parts of the dwelling, the smell of her blood on Camille's lips, the salty, savory taste of her victim's blood; it was almost as if Lilith had become the embodiment of her five senses. Before, she'd be blind in the dark, now, she could see everything down to the most minuscule detail. Lilith looked up Camille, now understanding a bit how Camille felt everyday. Suddenly, something occurred to Lilith. Lilith pulled down the straps of the night gown Camille had put her in and looked despondently at her bare, flat, chest. "We should go see Bonaparte." And with that Lilith gracefully leaped out of bed, enjoying her new reflexes, and headed towards the bedroom door.
