Let me start by letting you all know that it is my understanding that the Gangrel in question have joined the sect and have created a pack of their own, the Chaos Guardians. Their ductus is one called Smiling Jack and I will be contacting him before we head to the island. While we should still inquire into any congress they may have had with the demon I am pleased that they have joined the sect and appear at least to be on the right path.
One of the great strengths of the Sabbat is that we are all independent individuals and not as in the Camarilla automatons unquestionably doing the bidding of our elders. The Code of Milan extols the virtue of the spirit of freedom that exemplifies the Sabbat. It also explicitly states that we monitor the behavior and activities of our fellow sect members in order to maintain that freedom and security.
As for squabbles within our pack that is just what they are squabbles and I see a hypersensitivity that can lead us all to misconstrue the words of others and to read more into bluster then is intended. That does not mean that we should ignore them when offence is given. By constantly questioning each other’s words, deeds and motives we make ourselves stronger and uphold the very core of our Code.
We are Sabbat and challenging each other in physical and mental combat is what we do and how we improve our skills to fight against our enemies. I welcome such challenges within our pack as long as they don't interfere with our duties to our city and our sect and as long as they forge us into a stronger weapon.
