Giovanni: Enzo Giovanni: The younger of the two Giovanni in the city, ranking in at around 100 years old. He's the charismatic one of the two. Michael Giovanni: A very old Giovanni, being around 300 years old or so. He's a monster, and has access to REALLY dark spirits to do his bidding. The Giovanni don't want to bother the Sabbat, really, but would have no issue with wiping them out to make sure they aren't disturbed. The two live in a very expensive and nice estate in Ann Arbor. Ann Arbor is about 45 minutes south west of Detroit, and its own city. Now, since these are Sabbie and not Cam, they won't care they live outside city limits. The Gio's set up in Ann Arbor and quickly took over most of the city over the last several months. They have HUGE influence in transportation, police, media, and politics and industry, and occult. They are BUNKERED IN, and are more of an on going thing then a simple one pack taking them out, like they did their Detroit contact, the Rothstein. Enzo has ghosts monitoring Detroit and the highways for signs of trouble coming to Ann Arbor, while Michael's darker spirits tend to stay in Ann Arbor itself. Any un-Giovanni vamps that have tried to set up shop in the city in the last two months has....vanished.

The new archbishop gets wind from something stealing away influences from the city (whether it be from Bonaparte or another) so he calls in a Harbringer. I am not going to bring in this guy until 2nd game of March at the earliest. His primary purpose is to dispatch the Giovanni in Ann Arbor, after of course he finds out where they are and questions some of the more prominent packs in the city. He will be a very cold, calculating specimen, who will get who want to and feel the need to assist to help him with his primary task. After the Giovanni are dealt with, he will leave, unless a PC tries to keep him around for whatever reason.
He will not teach Necromancy to a PC, but will not burn the books the Giovanni hold on the matter and I will decide later on exactly what path and what level they will have on their person when they are raided.

Devon, at the end of last game, has suggested that his pack essentially break all ties that they have with Hathath. As such, he continued to look at and remember the Samedi that the pack had dealings with before and is essentially encouraging them to take out the Samedi. Faye, being the only other Cainite who knows of the dealings that the Scarlet Sentinels had with the group was invited along to help facilitate their destruction/ assimilation.
There are a total of six Samedi.
Jeremiah, leader of the group 10th gen, with true Faith (Will stat when database is in my hands) Sasha, assistant to Jeremiah 11th gen Erik, Bodyguard 11th gen Sean, Bodyguard 12th gen Adam, Bodyguard 12th gen Abigail, new recruit 12th gen

Okay, for Mitch's downtime, he wanted to go after the Samedi group alone. Since you have made it known to me that this comes from his desire to essentially drop his character without losing half his XP... I know how you feel about this issue, so we are going to have the demon essentially puppet him until he leaves the group and comes with some re-enforcements? Him going in alone would definitely end in his character's death, especially with the leader having true faith(Humanity) and all that jazz.
Essentially what I am asking is what do you guys want done, since he is part of another storyline?

Okay, essentially what i am doing with the Harbringer is I am facilitating the destruction of the Giovanni that reside in Ann Arbor, and doing it within confines that make sense with the Sabbat. THIS IS IN NO WAY GEORGE... that was almost a decade ago, give me some credit. The SWAT gear Canis Simulacrum has can only do so much to protect them vs ghosts, which I will be running as ghosts, not Wraith like Joey was.
Since Joey was doing a lot of things with packs and such that weren't part of the main storyline, I essentially want to put them under wraps and get them out of the way, completing the storylines as they were. I'm not going in half-ass on these scenes, and I will keep an open mind for suggestions. As I said before, the Harbringer is not going to come in for some time. In the meantime, the Giovanni will attack some more of the influence, especially that of Bonaparte and Antonio(since he has a lot from what I have seen on his sheet). Once I get to see more of who has what, I may choose to interrupt their influences instead of Charlie's since he gets a lot of shit.
Again, the Harbringer IS NOT GEORGE

Camille is attempting to use her Underworld of 2 to try and find out information on the Police chief's daughter. As this wouldn't be something normally used, I'm thinking she will be able to get a name, how many siblings she would have, where she liked to hang out usually, what school she went to, some of the stuff that the underworld would know about her just in case they needed to set up some sort of blackmail. What do you guys think?

Just so you know, Bonaparte's influence will be very hard to hit since he has the majority of it being defence to keep it. Antonios will be super easy since he is only offence.

I was only suggesting Bonaparte so it does not always look like we are targeting players and their influences the entire time. just because he is blocking doesn't mean they can't be touched, it is the same ruling we are using for PCs as I understand it. It's not like the influences will get wiped away or anything, just get frozen or something as I am thinking the Chief of Police will step down next week, creating a power struggle within the department, maybe an IA investigation that will tie up people's influence in the Police for a little while.

The idea of dark epics would say that there is an actual attack with influences against influences. Loki torched several occult book holdings including the NPC's. The Giovanni would not have the ability to hurt him in the way you are so craving. I said Antonio would be easier, however the police cheif would hurt if Bonaparte was stupid. He would not have all of his police tied to one or two people. His is spread out adist the common folk that no body pays any attention to. It's his MO. He wouldn't pick the cheif he would pick the police barber or the waitress at a resturaunt that several officer eat at that ehy all really like. Thats why I said it would be HARD. He also keeps a close watch on all of his people and takes care of them with his pack resources of 7. If one of them were to go crazy he would trace what happened and the Giovanni would explode that same night. Thats why they havent attacked him because he covers his tracks and kills all who touch his stuff... like the rumors As it is right now all of his shit would go onto the defence when the occult went up in flames. the only thing active would be his information networks and if they want to fuck with Nos, annon homeless and janitorial crews then they would need to be spending all of their shit to track them and kill them. They would attack Antonio first, then the BNB because they are influence power houses that are kill-able. Bonaparte can be taken out but it would take everything they've got around the clock for about 3 months of hitting him.

Also I am still really against the idea of Necromancy in game. I think it will be a bad idea to allow players to have it and its one more headache that I do not want. Nor do I really like that there will be a HoS in the city.

Okay, Necromancy is not a combat discipline, it takes preparation and time to activate and use the powers that it has. Bone 4, the soul stealing power, was never meant to be used in combat and it won't be able to be used in combat for this game. Since we have already made the ruling that tomes are a necessary facet of learning any type of blood sorcery in this game, we can limit the initial influx of Necromancy anyways, essentially, its not going to be an easy task to get the tomes. Though it does not specifically say it is this way in the book, we can always house rule it as such. Also if there are players who want to pursue it for character reasons, seriously who are we to deny them that? If they spend the proper time, influence, and xp for something that is within the core rule book, then why deny them that. I never said it was going to be an easy thing for players to get.

Okay whats happening with the police chief's daughter is the police chief was sent a few anonymous requests to start some IA investigations on the department. After he had been slacking off on that, the Giovanni in Ann Arbor sent in wraiths to start essentially fucking with his family. What happened to the daughter was that she is was being attacked by the wraiths. Instead of doing physical harm, they made themselves known to her through whispers in her ear, and some showed physical form to her eyes only. Seeing the forms made her flip out at the starbuck's and she occasionally flips out still at the ward. Her condition isn't improving and the Psychiatrist treating her has diagnosed her with paranoid schizophrenia. No medications seemed to have worked, and they plan to move onto ECT in the next week if there still shows no sign of improvement.
Depending on what the players do, they will get different information on her. For instance, Jen will get information like her name, where she hangs out and where she goes to school, stuff the organized crime would try and find out in case if they wanted to blackmail the chief of police for whatever reason. To find out her condition in the Psych ward, they will need to burn health influence, but still won't be able to tie the instance to wraiths. The only way they could would be through Occult influence which is suffering right now due to the bookstores and such being burned down. It wasn't planned this way by the Giovanni, but they are more than happy to deal with it like it is.
As i said, it all depends on what the players decide to do to investigate. It is my understanding that David Haddad is a revenant and is trying to get put on the day shift to guard her. My question comes with how he is going about to do that exactly?
The more information I have, the better I can say how these things will play out.

My understanding is that he's using dominate on his superiors in charge of assignments to get his shifts switched to the day shift guarding her. I'm sure the police chief would have placed a guard on her. If not, then he's getting moved to a post that would get him closest to her on day shift.
