How did I get on that list? I'm not a leader. Just because I try to get people together to get shit done doesn't mean I want anyone to think I'm someone to follow consistently. I'm more of a... very adamant adviser. When I say something, its usually best to listen, especially if I'm ready to swing a big slab of metal in your direction.
And I know people don't like my style. Its very blunt and very direct. And somehow, I landed in a city that seems to have more than a few Sabbat who are offended by my foul language. But I know what I'm talking about - usually. I've been doing this Sabbat thing a while. I know how it works.
But being a leader takes much more responsibility than I want to handle. Leave that for the power players in the city. Some people aren't happy unless they are in a position of power. I could care less about that crap.
I don't need a position to get shit done.
But the fact that this topic even got brought up is not a very good sign. I'm surprised more people aren't concerned. Instead its a big joke.
Ah well.
I guess if no one else is gonna take this city seriously then I won't either.

....WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?
I never thought I'd say this, but I agree with Stacey, and either all of you fail at satire or the leadership situation is worse off than I thought.

Personally, I was joking about voting for you, Stacey. I didn't see this as a serious survey, otherwise I'd be very offended at our little Faith for listing me alongside some of these people.
I do agree with everything you say, however. Does that mean I think you're a better leader then me? Hell no.
Nothing personal.
I take this city very seriously. I've run this city for a long time. Until very recently, I ran it very well. This whole Infernalist bullshit doesn't mean I haven't done my job. Infernalism is insidious and subtle and VERY hard to route out. In the 90s a large amount of important people in montreal were found to be Infernalists, as an example. Infernalists nobody noticed...IN OUR HOLIEST CITY.
So, yeah. Funny survey. Don't take it seriously. Don't piss me off.

I voted for faith because she said not to.
Iy's my hot body, and I'll do what I want!
The people who took it seriously are likely /B/-tards.

Honestly, I do not believe his point was made. I think he meant that why we are playing games and taking fake polls while we have 2 cities trying to kill all of us. Not to mention we have the lover of the Prince of Qubec as a captive. I believe that would be 3 cities then. We also have an infernalism issue to deal with. I have my havens secured, along with aiding in the security of the various esbots. I also have my figers in many, many, many pies. Thats why I took some time and voted for Nathanial, I needed a break. I also am much looking forward to a needed torture session; be it someone I know or someone I do not know, makes no difference to me. I have my shit together for when we are hit next, I think his point was do you? Stacey correct me if I am wrong.

Bonaparte,
That's about what I meant, yeah. But rather than a city full of Sabbat that are walled up secure in their havens, I would have rather liked to have seen a city work together to keep others out of the city. Secure havens are fine and all, but eventually, you have to come out of them. And if the city is overrun by your enemies when you do, you won't have much of a chance.
And yeah, I guess this is all supposed to be a big joke (yeah, Montreal we're not really all that fractured, this is just misinformation for you to think we are - you're more than welcome to come talk to me about it, though. 1-###-#### But send someone tougher than the last guy you sent to me. I'd like someone that lasts more than a few seconds next time), but my point is that leadership shouldn't be a joke unless it is rock solid. Seriously, we need Bishops that are going to take the lead in that defense and Cainites that are going to willingly follow those Bishops without asking all kinds of questions.

Seriously, we need Bishops that are going to take the lead in that defense and Cainites that are going to willingly follow those Bishops without asking all kinds of questions. See, that's the part I take issue with. First half of that? Absofuckinglutely, TuttifuckingFrutti. Second part? Not so much. But my issue is more that the actions of the bishops shouldn't inspire all sorts of questions. And it's not just like that in this city. Happened in San Antonio, and it's probably going on in Montreal and Atlanta too. If I was gonna be a blind sheep following stronger and older Cainites 'cos I was told to, I'd just go Cam. I'm also trying not to be a hypocrite here. I followed Fayefaye, no questions asked, and I like to think our pack contributed to that. I obeyed Nate in interrogating the Grimaldi, no questions asked, and I like to think I helped with that too. But if I'm gonna follow the orders of my superior, I'd like to be able to have a question asked if it comes up, without being told 'stfu and take it like a man/Cam'. I don't know if my part of this makes any sense, and I also don't know if people get that I'm not just pointing at Detroit, but Detroit has references I can identify. I'll go to Atlanta and Montreal and do similar surveys if you want.

Hmm. Faith, I think you and I are on the same page. I just didn't state my thoughts as clearly as I wanted to - sorry, I guess I'm distracted by our inevitable destruction...
We should have Bishops that people shouldn't have to question. We should have Bishops that people trusted so that when they needed something, no one had to ask why or even wanted to. And maybe that has something to do with the fact that all the Bishops are new and haven't earned that trust yet. Some have lost trust that never existed, which would be active mistrust.
That being said, when your city is full of idiots that can't see past the next choice they have to make whether it is where to get their next meal or which hand to fondle themselves with, it is usually best to have a policy of don't ask questions. The 'why' is usually too complex for them to understand. Besides, you're all gonna be dusted within a year anyway, so what does it really matter?
